The following are minimum requirements to be considered for entry into the MDent in Periodontics program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Eligibility criteria
To be considered for admission to the Master of Dentistry in Periodontics, you must:
- Dental qualification: Possess a dental qualification that makes you eligible for licensure in a province of Canada.
- Provincial licensing compliance: Comply with provincial requirements for licensing of dental interns and residents.
To study as a graduate student at the University of Manitoba:
1. You must demonstrate English language proficiency
AND
2. You must have a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university with a minimum "B" average (3.0) in the last 60 credit hours or equivalent.
