Application Notes : Students who have been asked to meet McMaster’s English Language Proficiency requirement must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving the minimum requirements as specified by McMaster: IELTS: 6.5, CAE: 190, PTE: 60, CAEL: 70, TOEFL (iBT): 86, DUO: 115.
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Entrance into the Music program at McMaster is dependent on students meeting the Faculty of Humanities admission requirements and passing an audition. The Music audition consists of an ear-training test and performance (the minimum level required for both equates to Royal Conservatory of Music Honours Grade 8), as well as a theory test (equivalent to RCM Advanced Rudiments).
