An applicant for admission to graduate studies leading to the PhD degree in Civil engineering must normally be a graduate of a recognized university with a master's degree in applied science (MASc) or the equivalent. Applicants with degrees in related fields will be considered but will normally require strengthening of their background in Civil engineering. Our objective is to attract the best students and to educate them in the rigors of scientific research.

Grade for Entrance Previous Year (%)*77 to 100
Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 237] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 100] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]
Application Notes : GRE is strongly recommended for students graduating from Universities outside of North America. All applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English to be considered for admission.
