Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade11 Applied Mathematics  or  Grade11 Principles of Mathematics 
Applicants are required to have: C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent; C+ in English 12 or equivalent or IELTS 6.0 or equivalent . Students are recommended to take ENG 104 in the first semester. Students who do not have a band score of Academic IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 20, PTE 50, CAEL 60 or higher in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking will be required to take ENG 104 in the first semester. NIC Tourism & Hospitality diploma graduates (all options) are eligible for admission directly into third year of NIC’s Bachelor of Business Administration, Management; or Marketing major.
Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]
