Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*

  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade11 Applied Mathematics  or  Grade11 Principles of Mathematics 

Applicants are required to have: C+ in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-060, ENG-096, ENG-098, ESL-090 or equivalent; or English assessment; and C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or NIC MAT-055; or C in one of Principles of Math 11, Pre-Calculus 11, Applications of Math 12, NIC MAT-053; or Math assessment; or, permission of the department. NIC Tourism & Hospitality diploma graduates (all options) are eligible for admission directly into third year of NIC’s Bachelor of Business Administration, General Management; or Marketing major.

Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]
