Applicants are required to have an OSSD or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) including Grade 12 English, C or U or equivalent, and Grade 12 Mathematics, MAP4C ≥ 60%; or MCT4C; or any U or equivalent. Applicants are also recommended to have Senior Physics. Aviation program applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform mathematical calculations at an OSSD level of Grade 12 and have an ability in listening, speaking, reading and writing in the English language at the Grade 12 level. | Application Notes : | All classes in Mohawk College are provided in English. Students whose first language is not English are expected to prove their proficiency with one of the following: successful completion of GAS-EAP (478) Program Level 8 with 70%; TOEFL minimum score of 550 (79-80 Internet based); IELTS minimum score of 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5; or an Ontario Secondary School Diploma & English Credit (Grade 12 U, M or C) issued from a public school board.
