Admission Requirements

Applicants are required to have: C+ in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-060, ENG-096, ENG-098, ESL-090, or equivalent; or English assessment.

Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]

Applicants must have completed 20 hours volunteer work and HSW Professional Reference Form, signed a Human Services Requisite Skills and Abilities document, and submit a 300 word HSW Letter of Intent for coming into the program and career goals.
