Admission to the Bachelor of Music (BMus) program requires that you audition on your main instrument and demonstrate an intermediate or advanced level. The first three years consist of a set of core applied and academic courses. Students select their profile option (composition, general, music education, musicology/theory, performance, piano pedagogy) at the end of the 3rd year and then follow its requirements in the 4th and 5th years. Students must choose a major in science from among: Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics.

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages: Certificate in Advanced English [min. C1] or CanTEST [min. 4.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 86] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70]
