Admission Requirements

Grade for Entrance Previous Year (%)*67 to 100
Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
English 12 plus three additional Grade 12 academic subjects at a minimum overall average of 67%. A minimum grade of 60% or better is expected on the provincial examination portion of English 12.
Application Notes : All students who want to take music theory or history classes are required to take a music placement test, regardless of their major. This test is offered during O-Week or by appointment later in the year.
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Audition prior to first year with the performance of two pieces from contrasting style periods. In most areas of study, these pieces should be a minimum level of grade 7 RCM. Auditions are held in late March/early April and September. A limited number of Musical Arts Scholarships are available each year. Email Allan Thorpe for more info.
