All doctoral students must have a research supervisor upon entry to the program. Interested candidates should consult the Department's website for a faculty list. All applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher or a GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 in the last two years of full-time studies. Please note: it is essential to clearly identify your desired concentration of study on your application. The two concentrations offered are: Human Development, and Learning Sciences. The specific requirements to be admitted at the Ph.D. 2 level are as follows: Applicants should hold an M.A. in Educational Psychology from McGill or a recognized equivalent degree from a program which requires a thesis, reflecting high overall standing, study within the area of proposed doctoral specialization, and evidence of research competence.
