Description:The Earth Sciences Department encompasses a wide spectrum of research areas in which graduate students may work. The department is well equipped with modern analytical equipment housed in the Alexander Murray Building, a purpose-built building containing the Centre for Earth Resources Research and faculty and student offices. In addition to graduate research projects in geology and geophysics, the department also participates in a multidisciplinary M.Sc. program in environmental science.
