Our clinic is equipped with 20 dental operatories and 4 radiography rooms. We have computerized dental stations and digital radiography capabilities. Students are actively involved in our dental clinic providing patient centred oral health care. Our dental hygiene curriculum also focuses on community based activities. Some examples include: In collaboration with Northern Health we have run a Seal in a Smile program for many years. Our students participate in providing education and presentations to many different community groups. As well, our students provide care for residents in long term care facilities. Students also have the opportunity to take part in the Healthcare Travelling Roadshow. Upon graduation our graduates are career ready and can be found employed in many dental offices around the province.
