Description:Occupational therapists work with people of all ages to help them carry out activities that they want to or need to do so that they can lead fulfilling lives (COT 2015). This BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy course is a three-year full-time programme, involving a combination of academic and professional practice placement modules. Graduates are eligible to apply for membership of the British Association of Occupational Therapists and to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They are qualified to work across a wide range of settings including the traditional settings of hospitals, day care, community practice and schools, and in non-traditional settings such as charitable organisations.
