|Faculty:||Faculty of Applied Science & Technology
|Field of Study:||Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician
|Description:||After building a strong foundation of mechanical engineering knowledge in your first two years, you’ll be exposed to more specialized subjects in your final two semesters. An understanding of niche concepts such as mechanical design, machine kinematics and dynamics, programmable controllers, fluid mechanics and energy systems may lead to better career opportunities when you graduate.
Sheridan's labs simulate the workplace, but there's no substitute for real-world experience. Put your new mechanical engineering skills to work for our industry partners in two paid co-op terms: one after your third semester and another in your third year of studies. You'll also work with peers on capstone research and applied research projects that help our partners resolve real-world issues.
