Description | Through this program, you’ll examine the Earth's atmosphere, weather, and climate. You’ll also learn how to predict weather patterns and how pollutants, human behavior, and other external factors affect climate change. The Honors Atmospheric Sciences program is a structured degree and includes a research thesis in the senior year, making it the ideal path for further advanced education in the field.
The Bachelor of Science Honors degree provides excellent training in one specific subject. As an Honors student, you will focus on one main field of study and must maintain a higher standard of academic achievement than students in a General or Specialization program. This is the best program if you plan to pursue a higher degree or a research-based or academic career.
