They are also required to have a grade 11 or grade 12 Mathematics with a minimum grade in the course of 60%. The Mathematics grade does not need to be considered in their admissions average. The admissions average for concurrent education is 75% on the students top 6 grade 12 level U or M courses including English and any other pre-requisite courses for the honours degree that they will pair with the education degree.

DescriptionApply to the Schulich School of Education, and earn your Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree at Nipissing University in one of the pre-eminent education programs in Canada. Renowned for graduating exceedingly well-prepared and professionally-minded teachers, the Schulich School of Education will prepare you for teaching in traditional and non-traditional environments, and will provide you with transferable communication and collaborative skills that are essential to any career.

The Schulich School of Education offers all teaching divisions: Primary/Junior (Grades K-6), Junior/Intermediate (Grades 4-10), and Intermediate/Senior (Grades 7-12). Nipissing also offers Primary/Junior, French as a Second Language.

The concurrent education program must be paired with another undergraduate honours degree offered at Nipissing University. Completion of both the honours undergraduate degree and the BEd takes 6 years in total with a full course load.
