The BMid is an advanced entry program, which means that you must complete at least one year of university-level study, including several required and recommended courses, before you can be considered for admission. Registration in the Bachelor of Midwifery program is restricted to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Preference will be given to Manitoba residents.


Coursework prerequisites: 50% in Chemistry and Applied or Pre-Cal Math, all at the 40S level

Description

The Bachelor of Midwifery Program (BMid) provides the educational foundation for a career in midwifery. Graduates of the program will be eligible to apply for registration with the College of Midwives of Manitoba and to write the Canadian Midwifery Registration Exam.
