Prerequisites NotesCandidates will be accepted under the general regulations of SGS and IMS. Students entering the graduate program will be required to have the minimum of a four-year undergraduate degree including prerequisite courses listed below and not more than 25% studio art courses. Candidates must have obtained at least a mid-B standing (73-76% or 3.0 based on a 4-point scale) in their final two years of undergraduate study.

DescriptionThe Master of Science in Biomedical Communications MScBMC is unique in Canada and one of five accredited programs of its kind. This two-year professional graduate program prepares students for careers in the visual communication of science, medicine, and health. Students in this interdisciplinary program explore the use of images, interactive technologies, and animation/simulation to effectively communicate complex science and health topics to a range of audiences. Our graduates are leaders in biocommunications across a number of fields, including pharma and biotech visualization, medical-legal visualization, health communication, research dissemination, textbook publishing, and more.
