DescriptionThe Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultural Studies provides graduate training towards a master’s degree (project or thesis-based) in French literature, translation or language studies. Areas of strength include theory and criticism, French (seventeenth to twentieth centuries), Québécois and Francophone literatures, women’s writing and gender studies, the cinema of France, Québec and North Africa, as well as translation and language studies.
