Description

ur Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Inclusive Educational Studies integrates both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to address the underlying barriers of discrimination and oppression in educational and workplace settings. Drawing on psychological principles, the program explores how social influences, attitudes, behaviors, and factors like diversity and personality shape inclusion and exclusion. Through problem-based learning and critical reflection, students engage with equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) issues in Canadian education, developing strategies to reduce bias and support marginalized groups. This specialization aims to foster learning environments that prioritize fairness, equality, and full inclusion for all individuals.

The Inclusive Educational Studies specialization can be taken within the Educational Psychology program.
