Description

The Intro to Home Renovation and Construction Course at Skilled Trades College of Canada equips individuals with the theory and hands-on training required to succeed as a general contractor in the renovation and construction industry.

In just 12 weeks, graduates of this program will understand the basics of carpentry, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall finishing and plastering, tile setting, and all other relevant general construction skills. As part of the construction course, students will collectively build a 1,000 sq. ft. house to completion, with finishes.

As one of the top home renovation courses in Ontario, Skilled Trades College focuses on hands-on learning instructed by industry professionals in a safe and controlled environment. Whether you want to become a general contractor, learn the skills to specialize in a specific trade or tackle ambitious home improvement projects with confidence, the Intro to Home Renovation and Construction Course is a great place to start.

Trainees are supported throughout the program and will receive all the relevant safety certifications and fundamental practical hands-on training needed to be successful as a home renovator, maintenance plumber/electrician, carpenter, or even a career in construction management.
