Description | Through this program, students will learn the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, air handling systems, and multi-fuel certification. They will experience the challenges in the installation, service and maintenance of gas, propane, oil fired burners, furnaces, boilers, and hot water heaters and understand fabricating fuel delivery systems, set up and adjust combustion efficiencies, size ventilation systems and combustion air requirements.
Students participate in a practical lab experience troubleshooting combustion, electrical, and other related problems, prepare for the Technical Standards and Safety Authority Gas and Oil Burner Technician III and II Provincial Certification Examinations and have their testing done at the STARRT Institute. | | |
