The following are minimum requirements for entry into the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Medical Physiology and Pathophysiology program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.


To apply, you must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree:
  • You need a three or four-year degree from a recognized institution with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
  • Complete specific coursework:
  • You must have completed either:
  1. Option 1:
  2. 6 credit hours in biology, microbiology, botany, ecology, genetics, and/or zoology
  3. 3 credit hours in chemistry
  4. 3 credit hours in physics
  5. Option 2:
  6. 6 credit hours in animal or human physiology

Description

Studying for a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Medical Physiology and Pathophysiology provides exposure to a medical research and school environment. It lays a foundation for those who have little or no medical physiology and/or laboratory experience, do not qualify for direct entry into our graduate program, and/or are interested in a gap year before pursuing another education program or a career in human sciences, biomedical research and other health-related areas.
