DescriptionIf you love a job with a clear process, have a knack for numbers, and pay great attention to detail, take accounting courses to become a valued Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk.

There are many jobs in bookkeeping, which is the first and most fundamental part of accounting. Bookkeepers primarily post invoices for accounts payable and accounts receivable. However, they are also involved in payroll administration, bank deposits, payments, and bank reconciliations. Bookkeepers often track purchase orders and prepare financial statements. Records management and filing are also an essential part of accounting.
