In the English program at King's, you'll have the pleasure and excitement of studying literary texts from all the major historical periods of the language, as well as investigating national literatures in British, Canadian, American, and post-colonial contexts.

You’ll benefit from the interactive design of our small classes, and will work closely with peers and instructors who will become friends and collaborators. You’ll learn with a hands-on approach to critical practice that includes experiential learning opportunities, such as assessing professional theatre performances or engaging in environmental activism. Senior students in King’s English program are highly regarded, and regularly get nominated for national scholarships and Global Undergraduate Awards. Our graduates often proceed to further studies in English, Law, Library and Information Science, and Public Policy.
