The following are minimum requirements for entry into the Bachelor of Nursing program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

The nursing program is an advanced entry program, meaning you must complete at least one year of university-level study, including several required and recommended courses, before being considered for admission, even if you already have a degree.

We encourage you to review the nursing advanced entry admission requirements, which provide important details on:

  • Required courses for admission
  • Adjusted Grade Point Average (AGPA) calculation and requirements
  • Written English and mathematics requirements
  • Humanities, social sciences, and science electives
  • Transfer credit
  • Applying as a student from another institution

Description

The Bachelor of Nursing is offered in a community that is characterized by a mosaic of cultural groups. The curriculum gives students a solid base in theory.
