Prerequisites NotesApplicants must have a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or equivalent, including Secondary V Language of Instruction, Secondary V Second Language, Secondary IV Science, Secondary IV Mathematics (Sec IV Mathematics – Cultural, Social & Technical option 563-404/414), and Secondary IV History. Students with a DES missing any of the above subjects may be admitted, space permitting, but may be required to complete remedial courses.
Cost

All returning students are required to pay their regular student fees ($164) in full by June 7, 2017 before registering for their courses. New students are required to pay the $164 in full by June 30, 2017 before they register. Payments may be made in full before registration by cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, money order or cheque. Post dated cheques will not be accepted. Any remaining fees (non-resident of Quebec, convocation fees, part time in-program fees, etc…) will be assessed by August 22 and due by September 8, 2017. Late payment fees of $25.00 will be applied to overdue accounts.

DescriptionExplore the social sciences with a focus on the education, care and development of children. The Child Studies Profile is centred on the role of children in society and the family, and includes courses in anthropology, history, psychology and sociology.
