| Description | Do precise work with your hands and problem solve as you maintain, repair and overhaul a wide variety of heavy vehicles and industrial equipment.
Being an apprentice means you learn on the job as well as during the required training periods. A heavy duty technician’s apprenticeship period is four years including a minimum of 1,500 hours of on-the-job training and eight weeks of technical training each year. | | |
