DescriptionPhilosophy helps students explore a wide range of questions from a variety of different positions and helps students ask the big questions and accept there are no easy answers. Philosophy asks the questions about meaning, truth, ethics, art, citizenship, and freedom that define who we are as individuals and leads us to a clearer sense of our role in society.

Philosophy is available as a major, double major, or minor within the Bachelor of Arts. Students can explore the major philosophies of the past and engage with the issues and major questions of today.
