DescriptionAs a skilled UFV agriculture graduate, you will be in high demand. Career opportunities for our agriculture grads are excellent and you should have no trouble finding work in the livestock or general agricultural industries. Some livestock-related occupations you might consider include dairy farm manager or owner/operator, dairy herdsperson, artificial insemination specialist, ranch hand, sale representative for livestock-related supplies, government livestock and forage technician, swine production assistant, poultry producer, and soils technician. You might also go abroad and work as part of the international agricultural student exchange program. As a graduate of any of UFV’s agriculture diploma programs, you are also eligible to transfer to Olds College in Alberta and receive transfer credit towards a Bachelor of Science degree in applied technology. You could also stay at UFV to pursue a Bachelor of General Studies program or consider transferring to the University of Lethbridge in Alberta.
