Prerequisites NotesApplicants must have a post-secondary diploma or degree in science or engineering, and a post-secondary degree first year Chemistry course with a minimum grade of 60% or a second-year diploma level Chemistry course with a minimum grade of 60%.

Students in this program may apply to the co-op program during their second academic semester. Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional co-op application process that takes place at the end of the first year. Students in the co-op program are eligible to complete three co-op work terms prior to graduation. Cost

Fees shown here are estimates only. Fees are in Canadian dollars and include tuition, health insurance and ancillary charges. The fees are for the 2022–2023 academic year and are subject to change. The fees displayed are for the first 2 academic terms of study at Sheridan; fees for subsequent terms are not reflected on this website. Co-op students must pay an additional fee of $535 in the term prior to each co-op work term.

DescriptionAn Environmental Control graduate certificate from Sheridan offers quick entry into this rapidly expanding field for graduates from a traditional science, engineering or technology discipline. The majority of courses are taught by practicing professionals, ensuring that program content is both practical and current. An advisory committee of industry and government experts developed the Environmental Control program and continues to assist Sheridan in curriculum design. The Environmental Control program builds on existing knowledge to develop the specialized expertise and skills needed by employers in the environmental sector.
