DescriptionThe University of Calgary program is designed to prepare graduates for leadership in population health, through strong academic preparation combined with early and continuing placements in community-based agency settings. Residents work with urban, rural, First Nations and international populations and are encouraged to tailor their program to prepare for their intended career emphasis. Most residents can satisfy the requirements for a course-based (non-thesis) Master of Community Medicine degree during their academic terms, if they choose.
