DescriptionThe purpose of this program is to develop skills required to provide personal support services to consumers and their families, clients and residents in the community, at home, and in long term care facilities and institutions.

The training in the Personal Support Worker program will provide the opportunity for students to develop basic nursing, and social service training skills necessary for employment in one of the following settings: community healthcare agencies, long-term healthcare facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, day programs, private duty, hospices and group homes.
