DescriptionThis comprehensive 36 week foundation (pre-apprenticeship) Program is designed to help prepare students for entry level positions and a career in the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician/Truck and Transport Mechanic/Transport Trailer Technician/Diesel Engine Mechanic Industry.

The program is taught through regular lectures, demonstrations and practice of current shop techniques. Students are given extensive practical training in a realistic shop setting. Emphasis is placed on the development of solid practical mechanical knowledge in preparation for the Heavy Mechanical Trades.
