DescriptionThe Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree program explores and studies the many aspects of human movement. Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology will be prepared for careers in these fields: active rehabilitation and exercise therapy; ergonomics; active health and fitness; biomedical applications; rehabilitation equipment and technology; and research. Completion of Kinesiology programs makes you eligible for careers as educators, or as administrators in fitness centres, leisure centres, senior citizen/retirement complexes, colleges and universities, the private and business sector and provincial, national and international sport associations and events.

GPRC can offer you up to two years (60 credits) of appropriate course work to prepare you for admission to year three of the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology program at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation. You may apply for admission for year two, after completing 30 credits (or more) or for year three after completing 60 credits. You must present a competitive GPA.
