| Description | Transporting goods by truck transport is a vital element of any community. Many First Nation, Metis and Inuit communities rely heavy upon truck transport on both all-weather and winter roads for the goods and supplies they need. As well, there is an urgent need for commercial truck drivers for trucking firms throughout Canada. Anokiiwin Training Institute’s Long-Distance Truck Driving Training programs provides trainees with the driving skills and knowledge they require to obtain necessary licenses and operate all kinds of trucking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
In some cases, Long-Distance Truck Driving Training programs will need to be delivered in regional centres, rather than in a specific community in order to provide trainees with a variety of driving experiences. | | |
