The M.A. program has four objectives: to sensitize students to their ethical responsibilities as anthropologists; to provide students with opportunities to conduct fieldwork; to help students develop a critical understanding of anthropological theory; and to encourage experimentation with the medium, form and style of ethnographic presentation.
