DescriptionThis intensive, 36-hour program is designed to prepare each participant to confidently take the construction electrician qualification exam.

The course will cover the following topics: basic trade practices; alarms and signaling systems; circuit loading and demand; UPS systems; emergency systems; grounding and bonding; controls and automation systems; motor and motor controls; interpreting schematics; blueprints; test preparation; basic to intermediate job skills; distribution and services; wiring methods; metric units; symbols; conversion factors; installation of power generation; heating systems (fixed and surface); and maintenance, troubleshooting, replacement and/or repair of devices and components.
