DescriptionTwo years (six semesters) in length, the Interior Architectural Design program is for those wanting to work as a professional in this field; who wish not only to embellish space but to manipulate it, design it, and supply detailed construction drawings to the building trades and municipal governments. Our integrated curriculum combines practical skills of drafting (hand and computer), space planning, and construction theory with colour, styles and materials use. The techniques of modern construction learned throughout the course are implemented into drawings and are enforced by the use of accurate computer simulations. Studies in perspective and architectural rendering help students to present their work in a professional manner.

In the first year students study residential design with an emphasis on kitchen and bath, as set out by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. During summer break, eligible students will be offered internships in the kitchen industry.
