Description | This unique program offers several exceptional opportunities for writers. Humber is noted for its exceptional faculty, including authors of world stature. Promising writers have a work of creative non-fiction, a novel, a book of stories, or a volume of poetry critiqued by one of the distinguished faculty. This faculty list has included Bonnie Burnard, Peter Carey, Timothy Findley, Isabel Huggan, Paul Quarrington, Olive Senior, Carol Shields, Antanas Sileika, D.M. Thomas, and M.G. Vassanji. Over 200 students have published books of fiction or poetry.
