DescriptionThe quality of this program is reflected in the 100 per cent employment rate of graduates. Developed in response to a growing need in the health and food industries, Humber's program provides participants with the specialized knowledge required to help biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, and food companies manage regulatory processes. Regulatory affairs professionals help businesses ensure that product development, manufacturing, and marketing practices meet or exceed government requirements.

Humber's program is unique in offering in-depth, hands-on instruction provided by faculty currently employed in the regulatory affairs environment. Students learn about the international health-care system, health-care legislation, and the procedures and practices for regulating the development, manufacture, quality assurance and marketing of health-care products. A three-month industry internship lets students apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world work setting. All courses have an international focus as: most companies develop products for an international market; current regulatory processes in most countries are based on international guidelines; Humber's program recruits students from around the world.
