DescriptionFoundations in Art and Design is a two semester program that provides a broad blend of art and design courses. Students are encouraged to explore and experiment with the materials and ideas of contemporary art and design as they learn of career possibilities in the art and design world. As well, they will develop a portfolio that may be used to help them gain entrance into a more advanced art or design program.

Durham College has working arrangements with our community partners to provide unique studio experiences off campus.

Students will graduate with an Ontario College Certificate.
