DescriptionUFV's Social Service diploma — First Nations option is a 62-credit program designed for Indigenous students or those with strong ties to Indigenous communities. This option is ideal if you want to work with First Nations people in the area of child welfare, healthcare, and education services and learn Stó:lō perspectives that work to enhance self-determination among Indigenous peoples and communities.

To integrate and apply classroom learning in practice, you also get to participate in two supervised practica with local Indigenous agencies, which provide you with work experience and connections in Indigenous communities.
