Description

For artists captivated by three-dimensional form and spatial investigation.

Our unique Sculpture + Expanded Practices program offers a dynamic environment to explore traditional and contemporary sculptural methods.

Students engage with materials ranging from wood and metal to textiles and digital media, fostering a comprehensive artistic practice.

What You’ll Learn

This interdisciplinary program emphasizes foundational techniques alongside innovative approaches. Students have opportunities to explore woodwork, metal fabrication, mold-making, casting, and textiles, as well as digital fabrication and emerging technologies.

The curriculum encourages experimentation with various media, including video, sound, interactivity and performance, allowing students to push the boundaries of traditional sculpture.

Critical discussions and theoretical readings complement studio work, enabling students to contextualize their practice within contemporary art discourse.
