Description | Centennial College's Software Engineering Technician (Fast-Track) program allows you to gain direct admission into year two (semester three) of the two-year college technology program and receive your diploma in one year (two semesters), if you are a qualified college or university graduate with a background in software. This fast-track version of the Software Engineering Technician program is ideal for those seeking a shorter-term program for timely reentry into the workplace.
While most people just use software, in this college engineering program, you learn to design, develop and maintain various software applications, human computer interfaces and enterprise information systems.
This course will be offered as a hybrid model, meaning at least one course requires you to come onto campus to complete lab work. For some hybrid programs, the fall semester can be completed online if you cannot travel to Canada. This course will also be asynchronous online, meaning you can access and engage with the course material anytime, anywhere, each week. | | |
