DescriptionThe diploma is an intensive 11-month program that allows the student to experience practical, hands-on instruction in radio, television, online, and print workshop courses. The essential skills of editing, interviewing, writing, and recording are learned in “real-world” newsroom environments. These challenging production workshops are balanced by theoretical courses designed to acquaint the student with the history and contemporary challenges of journalism.
