Prerequisites Notes | Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized institution and must display an adequate background in basic sciences. Applicants are expected to have attained a high scholastic standing equal to, or greater than, the minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.3 (out of 4.0 at McGill University).
In examining a candidate's transcripts, the admissions committee looks for:
* a general background in the biological sciences, notably molecular and cellular biology, and mammalian physiology;
* advanced level coursework related to the applicant's field of interest;
* adequate laboratory experience.
