| Prerequisites Notes | Minimum 18 years of age. All applicants must complete a placement test through the Test Centre, and will be required to pay the current fee of $40 (subject to change). Applicants who have previously obtained scores on standardized tests (IELTS,TOEFL, or CAEL) may not be required to take the placement test. Applicants who have completed level 2 of the Pre-EAP program with a minimum grade of B- in every course are not required to take the placement test. | | |

| Description | This College Certificate program is intended for students interested in improving their English language skills in educational and workplace environments. Students gain a strong foundation in academic oral and written communication for further postsecondary opportunities, as well as career enhancement.
Small class sizes provide students an interactive and dynamic classroom environment. Students are part of a rich international and cross-cultural learning community created by classmates from a wide range of linguistic, educational and professional backgrounds. Graduates are prepared to meet the language requirements for entry into most regular programs of study at the College.
