Description | Become a qualified, professional pilot in a unique learning environment. This program is the only Indigenous postsecondary program of its kind in Canada. The First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) Aviation Diploma program is offered in partnership with Canadore College. The curriculum meets the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training requirements for postsecondary studies as well as Transport Canada regulations and standards for flight training.
Training takes place at the Tyendinaga Aerodome - a one-of-a-kind facility including state-of-the-art classrooms and technology, and on-site student residence. | | |
