Students will be placed in the appropriate English level based on skills assessment results. This may lead to additional courses and require extra time and fees.

A well-run and efficient office within a medical practice, clinic or other healthcare setting is vital to the success of the practice and to the quality of the healthcare provided. Office Administration graduates in the healthcare sector have the organizational and clinical support skills necessary to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care and service. Faculty in the Office Administration – Health Services program are experienced individuals providing industry-related training that not only teaches you specialized skills required to be a part of a health care team, but also core competencies transferable across all industries.

The Office Administration – Health Services program helps you develop essential healthcare support skills such: medical terminology; Anatomy for Health Administration; medical transcription; medical office procedures; electronic health record management; computerized OHIP billing; and diagnostic and lab procedures.

This course will be synchronous online, meaning classes are delivered during a specific timeslot in the week. You're expected to come together online at the same time each week to engage in your studies. The course will also be asynchronous online, meaning you can access and engage with the course material anytime, anywhere, each week.
